Cento uses Plaid Inc. to connect securely to your financial accounts. This page explains what that means for you.
When you link a bank or card in Cento, the connection is handled by Plaid. You enter your bank login directly into Plaid's secure interface — Cento never sees or stores your bank credentials. Plaid then provides Cento with your transaction and balance information so we can display it and build your budget. We request only what we need: Plaid's Transactions product for eligible depository, credit, and loan accounts. We do not use Plaid to move money or to collect your full account numbers.
Your use of Plaid is governed by Plaid's own end-user privacy policy, which describes how Plaid collects and handles your information when you connect an account. We encrypt the access token Plaid gives us and store it only on our servers.
You can unlink an account or connection at any time in Cento, and you can delete your account entirely from Settings. When you do, we revoke the connection at Plaid and delete the associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.
